  I have a Toshiba Satellite C655-A5132. I am running BackTrack5 GNOME. What I am trying to do is have my computer run aircrack to decrypt wpa at night while I am asleep and not using the computer. I have gone into power management and changed the setting for AC power so that the computer never goes to sleep and if the lid is closed the screen just goes blank. This is not working as the computer still goes to sleep after being idle for 10 minutes. Closing the lid does blank the screen while maintaining whatever process the computer was running, but after 10 minutes the computer goes to sleep with the lid open or closed. I thought perhaps BackTrack believed the computer was on battery power, so I changed the on battery setting to the same as the on AC settings, but this did not solve the problem either. Has anyone else had this problem? Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
