Hack a Day
We really like this take on a conductive wire maze game. It’s the result of a 48-hour hackathon in Belgium which required that all projects stemming from the event use an Arduino. We think [Jan] and [Kristof] made perfect use of the prototyping device in the time allotted. The event organizers thought so too because [...]

Hack a Day
Thailand is dealing with horrible flooding right now. Despite the hardship, people still need to get around and go on with life so many have come up with clever hacks to make this disaster more manageable. Hack a Day
Instructables user [Jan] likes to keep close tabs on his computer’s memory usage, but wanted something more interesting to look at than the standard resource manager. Packet Storm Security Recent Files
Ubuntu Security Notice 916-1 - Emmanuel Bouillon discovered that Kerberos did not correctly handle certain message types. An unauthenticated remote attacker could send specially crafted traffic to cause the KDC to crash, leading to a denial of service. Nalin Dahyabhai, Jan iankko Lieskovsky, and Zbysek Mraz discovered that Kerberos did not correctly handle certain GSS packets. An unauthenticated remote attacker could send specially crafted traffic that would cause services using GSS-API to crash, leading to a denial of service.

Hack a Day
Reader [Jan] came across a website all about building your own video projector. We’ve linked to five of the best projects for 2010 but there’s a ton more information if you dig a little deeper. Our favorite so far is the GohtanBox v3 and it’s giant LED panel that serves as the projection light.
