  Metasploit and VNC Password Bruteforcing

  You probably missed it but jduck recently snuck in a VNC mixin and vnc_login module to the trunk.
  
  This is awesome because before that I had to use Immunity's VAAseline to do VNC bruteforcing. But now you can just use vnc_login.
  
  So the scenario is you find yourself on the other end of a VNC server.
  
  Its tedious to password guess like this
  
  Instead let's use the metasploit module
  
  
  and throw a dictionary attack against the VNC server
  
  Looks like the VNC no auth module had been ported and stuck in there too :-)

  defaults settings make a remote vnc connection too slow.
  
  In the client side i tried to connect with xvncviewer editing compression depth and other options but it doesn't change.

  vnc connection logs

  I have a client with an older Fedora box. They allow external connections via the built in remote desktop sharing (vino-server). I've been asked to audit the vnc connections to the box for the past 3 months.
  
  I didn't set up the machine so I'm not sure what options have been set up for logging. Does anyone know if there are any default vnc logs or where I can start looking for connection logs to port 5900?

  ciao a tutti!
  potreste indicarmi se esiste qualche opzione per poter rendere continuo il refresh di tightvnc una volta avviato da meterpreter con il comando run vnc?
  
  Vorrei utilizzare sia meterpreter che la sessione vnc contemporaneamente e logicamente non posso scrivere nel primo e poi muovere il mouse o premere alt nel secondo per effettuare il refresh.
